A delicacy in Esmera’s fertile landscape, gwampions are a vining plant that can crawl across the forest floor or in open fields. They are capable of producing a large amount of fruit on one vine so much so that a majority of it goes to waste from rot in the unskilled hands. However, most people remove or kill off this plant before anyone has time to identify it. If identified in time this plant can be transplanted and cultivated in farmlands. Gwampions look like pumpkins with a meaty jackfruit like texture on the inside. It is often used as a meat replacement for vegetarians when it can be found.
