The Sun-Steed; God of Fire, the Sun, the Summer Solstice, and Sacred Purity
Conleth is not merely a deity who commands light—they are the roaring heart of the sky. In the morning hours, Conleth rises to grasp the blinding mass of the sun with their bare hands, hauling its crushing weight across the heavens of Prismatia until dusk. Their form is a living inferno, a constantly shifting silhouette of blinding white-hot plasma and flickering solar flares that defy mortal concepts of form or gender. Because Conleth exists as pure energy and relentless duty, their cults hold a unique place in Prismatia. Followers revere Conleth as an entity above human divisions, making their faith a spiritual refuge for those who walk between or beyond the binary spectrum of gender. However, serving the sun comes with extreme discipline: the Cults of Conleth teach that to draw close to the divine flame, one’s spirit must be purged of all dross.
Conleth rarely takes a solid, human shape. Instead, they appear as a towering, humanoid flame of radiant gold and brilliant crimson, crowned with a halo of solar arches. Their eyes are two blinding specks of pure starlight, and the ground glass or sand turns to liquid obsidian wherever they step. You know they approach with a sudden heatwave that smells of ozone and incense; sunbeams that burn away shadows with unnatural sharpness; or hearth fires suddenly leaping in unison toward the sky.
“Look into the midday sky and you will see no gentle god. You see Conleth—an inferno clad in light, hauling the world’s burden through the sky with raw, unyielding hands. They ask nothing of the weak, and they give no quarter to indulgence. Their priests burn away their pasts, their cravings, and even the mortal labels assigned to them at birth, seeking to become like their god: pure, untamed, and blindingly brilliant.”
