Lenora

Maiden of the Pink Moon and the First Laughter

“A smile costs nothing to give, yet it can light the darkest corner of the world—why would anyone ever choose silence?”

Lenora is the radiant, sweet-tempered heart of the celestial realm—the divine spark of innocent joy, pure affection, and everlasting youth. She manifests as a breathtaking, effervescent fairy maiden with gossamer wings that shimmer like dew-kissed lotus petals under a soft twilight. Her presence is wrapped in the gentle, rosy glow of the Pink Moon, and her laughter—said to be the very first laughter to ever echo through Prismatia—sounds like crystal chimes ringing on a spring breeze. She is bubbly, intensely talkative, and endlessly curious about the world around her. While her exquisite beauty draws the longing gazes of mortals and gods alike, Lenora remains completely unbothered by romantic pursuit, choosing instead to guard her absolute innocence and chastity as her most cherished virtue.

As the first of the fairies, Lenora embodies a pure, untamed delight in creation that has never been tarnished by cynicism or worldly vice. Though many have sought her favor, her heart belongs exclusively to N’iorsai, the great God of the Sea. Their bond is a rare and beautiful sacred exception in the pantheon: out of profound love and respect for Lenora’s desire to preserve her purity, N’iorsai intentionally set aside all physical and sexual desire. Together, the Maiden of the Pink Moon and the Lord of the Tides share a deep, asexual devotion—a gentle, soul-bound partnership where they sit along the shorelines, watching the pink moonlight dance across the quiet ocean waves.

Lenora’s naive and trusting nature means she rarely harbors anger or malice toward anyone. However, there is one absolute boundary in the cosmos: her fierce, unyielding devotion to her best friends and fellow moon goddesses, Alvena and Xythen. Together, the trio forms a sacred celestial sisterhood that balances the night sky. While Lenora will cheerfully forgive almost any personal slight or foolish insult leveled at herself, dishonoring or threatening Alvena or Xythen is the one guaranteed way to extinguish her bright smile, replacing her sweet demeanor with a cold, terrifying lunar frost.

Lenora is joyfully worshiped by youth, fairies, maidens, poets, and all who seek protection for their purity and peace of mind. Her shrines are not grim stone temples, but ringings of pink blossoms, tranquil fairy glades, and coastal grottos bathed in moonlight. Her clergy—composed of young caretakers, fairy-blessed bards, and consecrated maidens—pray through singing, dancing, telling lighthearted stories, and protecting wild, unspoiled places from harm. To share genuine laughter with a friend or to protect an innocent soul from corruption is the highest offering one can give to the Goddess of the Pink Moon.
